Owner feedback in Technics AZ100 reviews generally aligns with professional critics, with sound quality receiving the most praise. On Japan's Kakaku price comparison site, the earbuds hold a satisfaction score of 4.28 out of 5 from 137 reviews, which is slightly higher than the category average of 4.24. A reviewer from a Swiss retailer described them as outstanding and said they were very impressed. A Gizmodo reviewer stated the sound quality was so advanced that it set a new standard for them, and Darko's long-term impressions came after four flights between Berlin and Lisbon, where the earbuds performed well for travel. The most consistent positive feedback highlights the large, detailed sound from the magnetic fluid drivers and the premium build quality. Reviewers also appreciate the Dolby Atmos head tracking, the app equaliser, and the extended battery life. TechGearLab noted the strong battery and noise cancelling, while RTINGS found the noise cancelling effectively reduces engine noise on planes and buses. Every thorough Technics AZ100 review also points out some issues. Calls are the most common complaint, as we found them glitchy, and RTINGS only gave a call quality score of 5.8 for office work. TechRadar says competitors can outperform the noise cancellation, and some reviews suggest you get better sound with noise cancelling turned on. Digital Trends also notes there are five eartip sizes, fewer than the AZ80 had. Who is satisfied with them? People who listen to a lot of music, travel often, and value sound quality over call quality tend to be most pleased. If your priority is conference calls or the strongest noise cancelling, consider other options as well. They launched at $299, 259, and AU$499, so check the current price, which varies with sales, and buy from an authorised seller so the warranty applies.
